Bummer

It always sucks to hear that a friend has left his startup. Startups are tough, especially when you're just out of school.

I suppose it's good to fail fast though. One of the advantages of doing YC/TS/LBD, etc. is that you get the connections that come with an investment, without the runway. So in a way, it's like a quick litmus test. Saving both investors and entrepreneurs valuable time.

To those jumping ship - I totally get it. There's a time when doing this is the right thing to do. I've been there.

Just be sure to take some time to relax and objectively think about what you'd do differently if you had another shot. Because the good news is, if you've made the leap once, you're probably tough enough to do it again.
